Friends. This was probably my most thought about topic next in line to J-O-B after graduation. Friends have really molded my character and have shown me to consistently redefine myself. They've taught me competition, self-confidence, empowerment, open-mindedness, and the ability to adapt to other people's perspectives. Friends are just an important foundation as is family, and one of the greatest things that life has to offer. I've learned to love and appreciate so many cultures through friends. Friends are always a reflection of ones interests and so many other things that I honestly don't feel like listing.
Like everyone, I've met real friends + fake friends. I've had PLENTY of friends that came and left. They've left because they fulfilled their purpose in my life. I believe that friends that don't last come into our lives to teach us a lesson. With every friend that I've ended a relationship with or every friendship that has grown distant, there has been an underlying lecture. Some of these lectures were my insecurities, the difference between real and fake and loyalty. Overall I've grown from every friendship that failed, and there's nothing negative about growth.
Friends have taught me things about myself that I didn't even know were there. They've shown me light in the darkest of situations. They've never doubted my decisions or my interests. A real friend won't judge you. They'll keep pushing you and support you . Always remember to be the friend that you want from friends.
A true friend will ride with you till the wheels fall off...
