Women's History Month: 5 Badass Girls Who Love Kissing Girls

A quick ode to women in dedication to Women's History Month. Here's my list of women who have influenced popular culture and had a little side time to swap spit with the ladies.

1. Gladys Bentley.

Blues singer who became popular during the Harlem Renaissance in the 1920's. This butch inspired stud attracted all ranges of females towards her including white women, which during the time period was very problematic. Breaking social standards in a time of segregation for the sake of love and hanky-panky? Now that's pretty bad-ass.

2. Wanda Skyes

A fellow successful woman of color who dominated the entertainment industry with her comedic skits and raunchy language, Wanda Skyes was always open and outrageously forward about her orientation.

3. Jessica Clark.

Superstar and commercial print model whose been featured in Elle, Vogue, L'Oreal, Redken amongst major names that dominate the beauty and fashion industry.  She used to have her own video blog on AfterEllen about love, life and relationships. She's also drop dead gorgeous.

4. Josephine Baker

Famous from the streets of Harlem to Paris, this actress, performer and African-American entertainment legend was one to be known to rendezvous with the ladies (Frida Kahlo was one). With that cocoa skin and suave legs who wouldn't fall to victim? At a later period in her life she had married a gay man and they both had same-sex affairs.

5. Angelina Jolie

'Maleficent' film event, Kensington Palace, London, Britain - 08 May 2014

Does she need an introduction? You don't need a set orientation to want to make out with Angelina Jolie.
