Women carry the lineage of culture, the love and strength of our ancestors, and the wounds of those before us. This summer we travel to the Island of Hispaniola, home of the Dominican Republic. The diverse abundance of palm trees, lush forest, and mountain ranges on the island is only rivaled by the diverse shades of brown of the people who call this island home. Haiti and Dominican Republic’s relationship is complex. There is political drama outside, and cultural animosity on the inside. The shared history of conflict creates an opportunity to release what no longer serves our shared heritage. An opportunity to raise the vibration of ourselves, and our earth is presented to Dominican and Haitian women alike. We rise together.

• Visit an Amber Crystal Mine 

• Discover the process of coffee from farm to table and enjoy a typical countryside Dominican lunch
